I'm not going to try your product, but assuming it is well thought out, useful, and works well:

If you have some extra money, get that up on a better looking site. Maybe Shopify? Give the impression that it is worth paying for, and then charge for it. Complete this course in Google Ads and ride that sucker to the top.

I would recommend watching this course. It's long, but you can cut right to the sections that you're interested in. Wait until they Udemy has one of their $9.99 course deals (which happens all the time). You will find it helpful.

It's going to be best to just dedicated a weekend to go through a course like this - https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-google-adwords-training-course/

One thing to keep in mind is that because one qualified lead will make tons of money, you most likely will be going against people who invest in Google Ads quite heavily - both in their bidding and the people running their campaigns. Might be worth mentioning to your boss that you won't be able to do well on a shoestring budget.

Good luck!

For what it's worth, I have literally just bought this course:

https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-google-adwords-training-course/

On the basis that it's highly reviewed by lots of people, and was (for me at least) heavily discounted. Haven't actually had time to look at it though, but it looks like a solid intro.

The best course - https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-google-adwords-training-course/

I have made several thousands in the last few months with an ROAS of 400% using the methods in this course.

I saw Isaac Rudansky course as well, but still wondering if I should take it. As from all the comments and what I thought is to get practical experience. But my chance of getting a job as junior position in an agency is pretty low now, so I am trying to find another way out to gain experience, that's how I get help from this sub.

I’d highly recommend this course. You’ll go from beginner to intermediate very quickly. I used it when I first learned how to use Google Ads and for training staff as well.

Check out this guy's course on Udemy (not an affiliate link, I've just heard it's good starting point) https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-google-adwords-training-course/

Also, if you want 90% off just go to Udemy with a fresh browser/cookies cleared/incognito mode. The price is always 90% off for new visits. Dang marketers! ha!

I’ve found the best to be on Udemy, super in depth and just about every base covered. Depending on where you are udemy always seem to have sales so if you aren’t in a hurry maybe just keep an eye out until it’s on one of their £/$10 sales

by https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-google-adwords-training-course/

For Facebook ads I saw good results using this one:

https://www.udemy.com/course/facebook-ads-facebook-marketing-mastery-guide/

Hope this helps, as good as YouTube is for tips I’ve found all the PPC courses pretty lacking, I’m sure there’s good stuff out there but udemy is my go-to.

Right, so your keywords were possibly competing with higher-level education advertisers. If you want to spend some time taking a course this is a good one: https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-google-adwords-training-course/learn/lecture/4028970

The hourly rate of someone worth learning from will be the same as paying them to run your campaigns.

It would also take considerably longer to teach than to do, so would cost you more.

Avoid "experts" from fiverr, people per hour and UpWork, etc. to begin with.

I'd recommend starting by studying Google Skillshop and getting certified (just to show yourself you know the material).

That will put you in a better position to start learning more, so anyone teaching you won't spend loads of time. Explaining terminology and really basic stuff to you.

There are plenty of well regarded courses if you search r/PPC - I believe there's a hubspot one which gets mentioned plenty, and Isaac Rudansky has updated his Udemy course for 2020 now. Not done either myself, I learned by being around ecommerce marketing departments for a number of years, doing Skillshop then going to work for an agency.

Excellent! There is a really good course on Google Ads that translates to other platforms. It's kind of lengthy, but the content is awesome. It's listed for $199, but wait for a sale and you can get it for 10-12 USD.

Google has Skillshop, which is a good place to start. Isaac Rudansky has his Google Ads course. Our agency launched something for just ecom and DTC marketers: TSR Academy.

I took this course a while ago and it was worth the time investment. Take lots of notes because it gets intense quickly.

I come from a 20+ year SEO only background. This will definitely expand your knowledge and is a great starting place for anyone willing to put them time in and learn.

I like this class on UdeMy:

https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-google-adwords-training-course

It has over 25h of video explanation on how to use Google Ads and the instructor provides extensive context in every lesson. Like most other classes in UdeMy it is often on sale.

Anyone can learn how to manage a 1 Million+ dollar budget account with the right training (including just online courses available out there). I don't know if Google Skillshop is something I would SOLELY rely on but their Google Ads certification courses are great and they get you certified which some employers require or prefer for this type of position.

Hands-on experience trumps all so hopefully you have the capability to do that with smaller clients. If not, then I would recommend holding off on taking this gig until you have some experience with smaller budgets AND have taken some of the following courses/certifications (no affiliate links):

  1. Digital Marketers' Paid Traffic Mastery Course (I usually stop around the LinkedIn ads section but you can do it all if you'd like) - https://www.digitalmarketer.com/lp/paid-traffic-mastery/
  2. SkillshareGoogle Ads for Beginnings (2020) - https://www.skillshare.com/classes/Google-Ads-For-Beginners-2020-Step-By-Step-Process/1751600363
  3. uDemy Ultimate Google Ads Training (2020) - https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-google-adwords-training-course/
  4. LinkedIn LearningAdvanced Google Ads Training - https://www.linkedin.com/learning/advanced-google-ads?trk=lynda_redirect_learning

I also love what KlientBoost does (https://klientboost.com/resources/) as well as their blog (https://klientboost.com/blog). Also listen to some podcasts that cover Google PPC and Google Ads and take in as much information as possible.

Note: I don't work for any of these companies or make any money with these recommendations. I am just a digital marketer with 12 years of experience who wants to help others who want to grow in this space. I hope this helps you out.

PS: If you have any questions if you do end up taking this gig feel free to DM me and I will answer to the best of my knowledge and ability to help you out.
