It's full price at the moment, but Udemy has 80-90% discounts all the time. Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, St. Patrick's Day, etc... I'm surprised they don't have a deal right now for Father's Day! If you really want to, you can buy it retail, but I always wait because they are often discounted incredibly.

My lady bought this great singing course that retailed at $120+ for like $13.99 on a deal just recently. It's like 120 hours of vocal exercises, warm-ups, techniques, etc that drastically improve your singing. All Udemy courses are taught by industry professionals who've been doing it for years, they really know their stuff for sure.

Just wait for a discount deal, I'd check every week, it's pretty often!

I really like the Udemy Ableton Live 10 course by Thomas George. It’s only $13.00. I haven’t finished it all, but I go back to it every once in a while. It’s nice to have a logical progression to follow, and not to have to jump around between tutorials on YouTube. I do that too, but if I’m in the mood for some continuity, I use the course. It’s pretty easy to follow.

Highly recommend this course for the learning a bunch about producing in Ableton. It's on sale now for only a few hours.

Hey buddy. This was the course I completed really fast, and it gave me the basic idea of essentials on Ableton: https://www.udemy.com/course/abletonlive10/
My music theory knowledge was weak but I improved it every day with using Melodics.

I was feeling lost at some point also, however finishing a song and getting friends' feedbacks was the best helper. Just keep going and push your self.

I also found a sound engineer for mastering my tracks, and he really gave me good suggestions on the road. That's basically how it happened.

It can be hard to start totally from scratch. Learning does require some incentive, even if that is just producing something that is satisfying to you. And you can do it, but need to start slow. The fear that you won't be able to do anything can be paralysing.

Logic can be tough for a beginner. Everyone's different and some people begin with it and are great, but I'd say:

1) Download the Ableton free trial and follow this basic intro course:

https://youtu.be/iLHovADrV-Q

2) Then buy this course on Udemy (only buy on discount):

3) Then follow a basic track on YouTube like this:

(at one point he uses an instrument from Maschine, but you'll need to find one from Ableton's stock library).

Just take it slow and get a few hours done each day with these steps. Check back and ask questions to us Reddit.
