Beginner to Pro via Reference and Workflow would be worth looking into. Simon Foster has done a few Affinity courses on Udemy but this one is valuable as it has one half of the course based around workflow for different tasks, while the second half explains the use of each tool in more specific detail. There are plenty of downloadable pdf resources as well. This course has been around for a while but has updates for 1.7 and 1.8 so reasonably current.

As others have said, the Udemy courses are always on sale so never pay the marked price for them (usually 80%-90% off). Some people give them grief for this but as far as I'm concerned I get great value courses for about $10 so I won't complain. Ive got a few courses and always been happy.

>Affinity Photo processes RAW files

Yes it does, but it's doing a poor job. You can't c/p the settings you made to another picture. (Let me know if there is a way!)
I use Lightroom together with Affinity Photo on PC and iPad and I love it.

Affinity Photo is not supporting newer RAW formats. e.g. Canons CR3
It's working on Mac and iPad only because Affinity can use Apples RAW engine.

To learn about Affinity Photo I would suggest to do a few online courses like on udemy. (around 10-15€ when on sale)

I started with Affinity Photo: Beginner to Pro via Reference and Workflow. This guy is easy to listen and understand and he keeps his courses up to date.
