Check out Scott Duffy. https://www.udemy.com/course/az900-azure/

He has some good stuff that will give you an intro to the fundamentals. His course is regularly on sale for $12.

I think learning cloud basics is a great idea. I would go with aws or azure. Can’t go wrong with either.

Terminology is different, but the core concepts are the same.

spend the $12 for an Azure course on Udemy. At least know the terminology. Here's one as an example. https://www.udemy.com/course/az900-azure/

I have very limited experience woth Azure, studied for about 3 weeks with Udemy and Microsoft Learn and was able to pass with a 790.

Its a fairly high level exam, you mainly need to know what services can do what, and what would be the best solution to fulfil an implementation.

I passed using the Scott Duffy Udemy course. His course is good and you'll learn a lot from him. I also recommend using the Tutorials Dojo practice test courses. Their course is similar to the actual exam and they provide detailed explanations on the correct/incorrect answers.

Here is a guide that you can use.

I did the following:

Study:

Scott Duffy's az900 on udemy

Practice Test:

  • https://www.whizlabs.com/learn/course/microsoft-azure-certification-az-900/256

I watched the course. Tried the first set of tests, then figured out where I was weak and did more reading. I took copious notes as there are heaps of info. Then I did the same with udemy practice tests (test, review, notes -> try again).

Word of advice - it helps to practice on Azure - either use the MS learn labs or in a real account.

Also, I took my exam online and on a Sunday afternoon. This gave me the morning and day before to do lots of practice and studies.

If IT is something you really want to pursue.. Use this as an amazing opportunity to learn something new. Udemy is your best friend. Udemy runs sales every other day making 60 hours courses only $15 or something like that.

You might have bullshitted your way into it but use this as a chance to challenge yourself. Take the extra time to learn all the material inside some udemy courses and the pain youll go thru learning it, your future self will thank you a million times over.

I'll link some good udemy courses to get yourself in the door with basic computer hardware, basic networking, and some cloud courses using azure.

Entry Level Computer Hardware - FREE Youtube Course - Professor Messer - I used this guy for my A+ Cert for the 220-901 & 902 and I passed with an 92%

Entry Level Networking - Network+ Certification

Mid Tier Networking - CCNA Course - I used this course for my CCNA along with Boson practice exams and passed with a very good score, forget exactly what score.

Entry Level Cloud Technologies - Azure AZ-900 | Azure Fundamentals

Mid Tier Cloud Technologies - Azure AZ-104 | Azure Administrator - This is currently what I am studying, using this course exactly and I have zero complaints.

UDEMY RUNS SALES ALMOST EVERY OTHER WEEK, IF YOU SEE A HIGH PRICE, BE PATIENT AND WAIT A WEEK UNTIL THEY RUN A SALE.

Oh right, thanks. I don't only want to pass this, I want to fully learn every single aspect but if I am going to do a cert, I don't wanna waste time, so these are the resources I'm going to use, could you please advise me which ones aren't good?
