I learned about them on the Udemy course: Super Learners Udemy Course: Super Learners

Its basically a mnemonic (a system such as a pattern of letters, ideas, or associations which assists in remembering something). So an object in your mind, that is related to something you want to remember. Commonly associated to Mind Palaces.

Any more questions?

Here's a video on how to accelerate your learning, it's around 10 minutes long and it explains the best way to learn things.

It was actually really difficult to find a short memory palace practice video explaining how you can do it, but I think this really short one from Ron White makes it pretty clear and easy to do. The only gripe I have with it is that he doesn't give blatant examples or lists for you to actually memorize. Another guy, Anthony Metivier, has as bunch of material on memory palaces, and there are a lot of blogs he's written on explaining how to use the memory palace for languages, music, and many other things.

What I used when I was first introduced to this kind of mnemonic was a course on Udemy called Become A Superlearner around 6 years ago, though that course is gone now and it's updated to Become a Superlearner 2: Learn Speed Reading & Boost Memory. I guess the more premium course would be the Become a Superlearner 2.5 course.

It's actually really cheap on Udemy, only $12 I believe, and there's a 30 day money back guarantee so it's not much to lose. It talks about the different ways to use mnemonics, all the tricks and how to apply it to speed reading. I'm not too sure what other resources I can find for free, but these were the resources I used back when I was studying in school.
