I enjoyed this course from Thomas Wiesner. The content is pretty uptodate (March 2020). Costs only a few bucks.

True. I’m following this course right now - https://www.udemy.com/course/blockchain-developer/. It doesn’t require knowledge of any programming languages. It is technical but I’m very familiar with the properties of different blockchains so I can put all of my focus towards understanding the code/language.

Currently following this course. You can find vouchers online to cheapen it.

I’m in the middle of this one: https://www.udemy.com/course/blockchain-developer/ There’s another with more reviews which I might try after.

Dapp university is really good, the bootcamp is expensive and may not be completely worth the money, but there’s tons of free tutorials on his YouTube channel.

10 hours and this guy is a legit pro doing real work on commercial blockchain projects. He will save you a lot of pain. Skip to the supply chain lesson if you feel you are fully done with learning the actual solidity language for now

I used this course on Udemy. Seemed like a steal for 16 bucks, considering it teaches you all of the basics.

This is the best all rounded instructor led course for solidity development. Tom is incredibly knowledgeable and all code is explained at a good pace. You go from zero solidity to testing and deployment. Can't recommend it to enough people.

  1. Those skills are highly transferrable to Eth development. You have a huge leg up against others who have either developed with unrelated technologies or have no development experience. You'll be using a lot of Node, React, and generally a lot of JavaScript.
  2. The best resources I've found are on Udemy and Ivan on Tech Academy.
Specifically, this course helped me a lot: https://www.udemy.com/course/blockchain-developer/
It really teaches you from the ground up how to develop with Ethereum and you get to dirty your hands with a few projects as well.
If you're more intermediate (already comfortable with Solidity), then I highly recommend using the Ivan on Tech Academy (academy.ivanontech.com). They have a base plan that costs $32/month which gets you access to their basic classes. For $77/month you can get access to all of their classes along with some extra perks (career guidance, etc.). If you're comfortable with Solidity you should do the $77/month so you can do the intermediate blockchain developer track. So far I've gotten a lot of value out of it and it's nice that they have courses and tracks for all experience levels. They also update their courses regularly so there's no outdated material on there and the forums are really helpful as well.

Good luck and godspeed!

I've been following this course I got on sale for solidity development and it's been fine so far

https://www.udemy.com/course/blockchain-developer

Anything that is deprecated they have follow up to address and the instructors are actively answering questions. It's not hard but you can check the description to see if you will get something out of it.

Shamelessly plugging in my own course here, for which I am just about to add another hour of content: https://www.udemy.com/course/blockchain-developer/?referralCode=E8611DF99D7E491DFD96
