I have my second test today, but I've used Mike Meyer's book as well as his Udemy course. Then I used Jason Dion's practice exams. Those are all very popular resources to get started.

Another popular (and free) resource is professor Messer on Youtube.

I used this and this to prepare myself for the exam. Jason Dion's questions were helpful in getting me to understand what exactly CompTIA was asking for in the exam. I recommend them highly.

If you want free, Professor Messer on youtube is your best bet. You can learn a lot from him on many certifications.

I can’t recommend Jason Dions practice exams enough! I suggest getting them for 1001 and 1002. They are both on sale today. Go through them and judge what you may need to learn. Or they may be a great indication that you’re to take the real thing. If you get questions wrong the test will tell you what objective they are. You then can go to professor messer and review they objectives video for a refresher. This is what I’ve done. I did this when I passed both tests for A+, Net+, and what I’m doing now for Sec+. Hey bro don’t beat yourself up, to be fair there is a special way to study for Comptia it took me six months to study for Core 1 pass first and then I took core 2 for a joke and studied for 1 month just to fail but passed second try so it depends how you prepare now I will give you a tip,

Watch Professor messor videos atleast couple time till you form an understanding,

Go on udemy and buy Mike Myers course 1001 and 1002 From Udemy you also buy Jason Dion 1001 and 1002 Jason Dion exam practice test and simulations

Buy Jason Dion 500 test questions for1001 and 1002

And remember go over the videos again and again!!! And do loads of practise tests.

Remember i was desperate to pass and I was willing to use any source of study material to pass.
