Rakugo - How do I start

Let me make this clear:

I am coming from Ren'Py and I know none, except but a few things from the certain Game engine.

I made a good start but when the time was right to add some point and click elements I got really confused.
You see, Ren'Py is mostly a VN engine and when you try to use it as an advanced game engine, things are starting to get messy.

I have Ubuntu, I love open source, so searching in Google about "Godot adventure game" led me to Rakugo.

The things is, I tried to follow the wiki but it looks like Hindi to me :-)
How should I start to know more about Godot and in time learn Rakugo?
I found this course on Udemy though it has a lot more stuff like 3d elements and so on.

What do you suggest?

I'd suggest the Getting Started guide on Godot, especially the Step-by-Step part. This will teach you all the basics you need to know about Godot!

In terms of YT tutorials, The GDQuest Godot Newbie Playlist will carry you through the step-by-step guide of the godot docs in a video version. Its still being worked on atm though.

Lastly, if you want to delve into courses and wouldn't mind paying some money, then i'll suggest This Udemy course for $19.99 which will get you started with Godot, taking you from making a text adventure to making a compelling 3D experience!

That's all I have for now, Hope you have a good day! :D

+1 for Godot! I've used it a bit and I really like it.

I'm planning to do more of it in future but am concentrating on other software related projects atm.

Check out these 2 courses - both of them are fantastic! The first link is a beginners course, and the second one is more advanced and includes multiplayer networking etc. I highly recommend doing the beginners course first.

You should be able to find a Udemy voucher code code pretty easily to get the both for dirt cheap (80-90% off). Otherwise, Udemy hold sales pretty much every week - expect to pay anywhere between €10 - 15 per course with a voucher code/sale.
