Try watching "start to finish" videos.. Theres a few different kinds : One where they show you sound selection, sound design and track arrangement and others where they show you all of that plus the mixing process..

Don't watch random short clips.. You'll only get confused cuz while YouTube has some really great tutorials, it's very to get confused since it's quite disorganised.. If your a complete begginer, chances are youll be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of tutorial videos out there (the short clips).. A proper start to finish video will cover it all and in the right order..

Or if you got $12 to spare take this course on udemy.. A very detailed start to finish edm production course.. REALLLY helpful!

I highly recommend this course. It's not exactly for remixing, rather it's for creating an original work, but I am sure you can apply it for remixes as well.

I've personally found this one usefull: https://www.udemy.com/course/edm-production/ For its price - often around 10$ - I would say it worth the money, probably for beginner only. It is not advanced, and you may need much more study after it, with practice or by taking more advanced courses, but he teach you a basic method to follow for the all entire process and What I really like is that he teach you a way to approach to the whole process, by always speaking what he want to do before moving any knob.

Basically, for beginner, I would personally avoid too advanced and "in-depth" courses on single specific things, like an entire course about compressors or eq-ing. I would rather prefer courses more basic that gives you the fundamental of the whole process - from start to finish - because I think sometimes, with pieces learned randomly here and there from different youtube videos, you just miss a good "workflow" with solid fundamentals. Of course, advanced courses could be the "game-changing" when we master the basics. What do you guys think
