This one is a little gem >

The tutor Vako Shvili is really good. He takes you through essential design theory and then teaches Figma and Webflow.

Webflow academy is free and is very good. Obviously it's all centered around their tool Webflow.

I cannot possibly recommend you a school, but I can definitely recommend you a great book — Refactoring UI by Adam Wathan. There's also Udemy's fairly decent course Complete Web Design: from Figma to Webflow to Freelancing

You may also want to look into UX design blogs on Medium.

Recently completed this course and found it super useful and fun. If you don't want to buy it, it's on skillshare as well so you can sign up using a free trial.

Search for some beautiful designs on Behance, Dribbble etc.. Take one or two designs as inspiration. Here is an example.

Choose a pre made color palette. Its hard to nail colors when you are new to design. An eaxmple.

In long term, its best to take a design course, to understand fundamentals of design, like - Layout, Typography, Color, Empty Space, Consistency etc. I do not know any mobile design course, I loved this web design course. I believe the fundamental concepts will be same for mobile or web.

Thank you for this sir. I think I will start with this one for now as it seems much more affordable and has a lower barrier of entry. Thank you for sharing your journey as well. It's very encouraging.

I started doing webflow + design with this Udemy course about 6 weeks ago: https://www.udemy.com/course/freelance-web-design-from-design-to-development-to-making-money/

Now it costs around 15 USD for a lifetime access and I can assure you that it's enough to launch you on your journey, especially if you combine it with the completely free material found on Webflow university (and other free resources, like YT videos and the Webflow/Reddit forums). I always go back to these fix points whenever I want to learn/understand something better/more.

I haven't done any design per se or development previously, except for some basic PS. And getting going with Webflow was definitely a challenge, as the way it (and webdev in general) thinks was waaaaaaay less intuitive to me than working with Figma and PS which are like expert MS Paints. But now I'm at a level where I enjoy it as much as or even more than design, it makes me think differently, and the outcome of being able to have something "tangible" other than a blueprint is definitely worth it. So do it and don't let the first few difficult challenges stop you.

There’s also this one https://www.udemy.com/course/complete-webflow-bootcamp-from-figma-design-to-development/

Love your username, because…. mood. I took the google UX course on coursera and it was very helpful in learning the basics (enough for a junior position I think, especially with how similar UX is to architecture conceptually). So I totally recommend starting off with the google course. But I have also subscribed to Medium newsletters focused on UX / UI and joined groups on LinkedIn and they constantly post helpful articles so I continue to learn. Ideate labs also has a lot of learning resources. I also bought a couple courses in Udemy (when they discounted the courses), I haven’t started them yet but I saw them recommended on Reddit somewhere:

You have 2 whole months. Take advantage. Put in as little time as you possibly can in your current position and develop your marketable skills. My employer caught me working while travelling abroad and I got laid off the next day. I forced myself to learn the Webflow platform, leveraging my previous web dev experience and now I have multiple clients on Upwork. Wordpress has a much lower ceiling in terms of your billing rate, so I'd suggest looking into it.

These are the exact 2 online courses that helped me start the journey-
