I would try here. I like his style, and you can usually get it for 9.99-11.99. If not, just wishlist it and it'll go on sale. Of course, this is llinux based, and I'm not sure what godaddy is. I can't imagine that it would be anything BUT linux based. But ya never know.

Also this if you are willing to pay a bit. It's not mine, this guy gives good basics on what you want.

But you need to read as well, since I dont remember him covering how to use the firewall which is crucial.

Well, this is very helpful and appreciated. To give you an idea, I've never seen the abbreviation GUI or heard of a graphical user interface (necessarily) nor have I ever been offered the option to have a different GUI now that you've explained what it is... Even running something via a terminal is 100% new to me. This is my only point of reference as to what I"m looking at so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BAPQRmElfs

To answer your question, I was told that I need to look more into Amazon Web Services (AWS) and find someone that knows how to program and do dev work b/c it's too late for me to learn myself. The notion that it's too late b/c I'm 33 is absurd. I somehow landed on the Amazon E2C page and here are the results of what I was asked to move forward with (on a trial atm): "t2 t2.micro Free tier eligible 1 1 EBS only - Low to Moderate Yes"

The grey icons could be entirely unrelated to this, but here's what I had noticed: 1.) it warned me that I needed to be on an entirely secure network and/or using a 100% secure computer (which mine currently is not i'm finding out) 2.) Linux is the OS and Fedora is the distribution. The guy at Geeksquad said that I can press f12 when I first load the mac to set my passwords on hard drive and something called BIOS. He also said that if I am worried about the security of my hardware, I can do a resinstallation - just as you mentioned above. Let's start there. From that point, I can take these two Udemy courses to get up to speed?

1.) https://www.udemy.com/course/fedora-linux/ 2.) https://www.udemy.com/course/hands-on-linux-self-hosted-wordpress-for-linux-beginners/

I have absolutely no idea how to reinstall this on this computer though. Can you please help me understand how to do this?

This is a decent video guide on how to setup Wordpress site on Kubernetes (managed kubernetes via Digital ocean) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVpbsTIzkkE&list=PLtK75qxsQaMIZ2hZhBbnvNZNFQHGUPrvV

He also has a Udemy course called Hands-on Linux: Self-Hosted WordPress for Linux Beginners which goes through best practices setting up Wordpress the old fashion way (which is also good background to have for a better understanding of best practices in the real world using Wordpress ).
