I would suggest keeping your cash or putting it in a low risk ETF where you could earn compound interest.
If you want to start a business- consider writing down your skills.
If you find that you are able to share what you have learned, to help others, then consider creating an online course.
I found this a great source of passive income after I created my course. There are no start-up costs and, like compound interest, you make more money over time.

You can be your own boss- yes! But, invest time rather than laying down a huge amount of money for products/ storage/ delivery etc :)
