Where to go from here?

I have done this course: https://www.udemy.com/course/how-to-make-an-iphone-app-course-xcode-11-swift-5-ios-13/ and have made an app with included some basic things learnt from this course (the app was made without the use of a tutorial) and subsequently released this onto the App Store.

I now feel like I have hit a roadblock with regards to where to go. I was intending on continuing to create apps but I feel like I have missed out on some of the fundamentals.

I'm looking at some of my options such as Hacking with Swift, Raywenderlich iOS & Swift Learning Path but wanted somebody's opinion before I decide which direction to go.

I would like to get to a point where I have learnt enough of the fundamentals to be able to create apps which is not a horrible pile of jumbled code from stack overflow of which I do not understand what any of it does. Overall the aim is employment.

For what it’s worth, I am just starting to learn as well and I bought this course on udemy. It was $15 on sale and I think it goes on sale pretty often. The full price is pretty steep but it’s great for beginners and teaches you CoreData and how to use it to make a simple To Do list App (among other projects)

Wait for a sale, but I found this course to be a pretty gentle introduction: https://www.udemy.com/course/how-to-make-an-iphone-app-course-xcode-11-swift-5-ios-13/.

As far as anyone saying something like "if you're unwilling to do the research then you're likely not fit for development," don't listen. A quick question causes no harm, and people who have actually read books/taken courses can tell you if they're worth it or not. Nothing better than first-hand knowledge.
