ALLOW ME to present the biggest truth at r/CompTIA. ITF+ is a solid exam. The majority of the boasters in here would not pass with an impressive score (if at all) There IS NO GLORY in failing A+ multiple times. ITF+ is a great checkpoint to help you prepare.

You set your expectations all wrong if you anticipated easy. Your course did not translate well to the actual exam - hey, it happens. I went to WGU and still grabbed training from Udemy. Maybe this will help.

Don't beat yourself up. Save all that emotion and use it as fuel. You know what to expect now. And knowing is half the battle .. GI JOE

Well if you don't have the time for that then at least try this it's a 5 hour ITF+ course that will at least give you a bit of a clue. You've gotten excellent advice here.

I just passed the ITF+. I started watching the TechGee YouTube videos but I didn’t really like them and only watched like 15 minutes. Here’s what I used:

Study Guide from Quentin Docter

• Udemy courses from Don Pezet and Ronnie Wong and Scott Jernigan

The Don Pezet course is better and it’s free. I did learn a few things from both courses though. Also the book comes with flash cards and practice tests. Keep taking the tests until you are in the 90s. After that you should be ready for the exam. It takes some time to retain the information. I would look at the summaries at the end and f the chapter and if I didn’t remember something I reread those sections. Do the same with questions you get wrong on the practice tests, reread those sections.

Above all don’t give up! Nothing easy is ever worth it. You gotta work at it. You’ll get it.
