do I really need to put in 40hrs too learn JS?
Hey guys,
I got a question for people who already are good at JS.
I am working on react at my company for 3 months now and although I understood some react by googling, I am still struggling to do very simple task, e.g understanding arrays & objects (JSON), callbackfunction, general problem solving (cause idk what can or cannot be done)
So I think I need to learn JS to get better at react.
Now, I have a course on Udemy, but the question is, do I really need to put in 40hrs too learn JS.
OR would the 3-8 hours courses on youtube do the trick and then I just practice with some projects.
link to the course: https://www.udemy.com/course/javascript-bible/learn/lecture/15383214#overview
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for reading guys.

No, there is not a one and only course for anything. Look at spanish or Algebra no one book is used by all high schools or colleges, the point is to start with a good one and learn a lot of the basics.
If you go through her 50 hour web dev course you will have a lot of the basics down and likely anxious to learn more and will have done so for very little money and if it takes you 3 months to complete it ( just a wild example) it wont cost you $90.00 like it would if you were paying for some subscription services.
There are several others and you might prefer a book to start with ,
