I learned by setting up a test environment, reading the Ansible documentation then began running small plays until I got comfortable with it.
After that I setup Jenkins with Ansible on a Docker container, so the other IT staff has a nice GUI to work with, you have build history, can add in additional plugins, etc. It's more legwork up front but it was worth it, this course is on sale right now and could get you started with Jenkins/Docker/Ansible > https://www.udemy.com/course/jenkins-from-zero-to-hero/
It's really satisfying to see a playbook come together and run successfully.
EDIT - If you buy any course, get the Ansible for an absolute beginner, it's a great course with interactive labs > https://www.udemy.com/course/ansible-for-beginners/
I struggled with Ansible at first because I tried to dive right in without reading the documentation, make sure you understand yaml formatting and the modules you'll be using.

DevOps is huge. You're expected to know everything from AWS to Github to Docker/Kubernetes to IaC such as Terraform and how to build and manage a CI/CD pipeline and deployment tools. No one at work should be expecting you to be a rock star this early on. Hop on Udemy, get the following and do them in your spare time:
- architecting on AWS or a similarly popular/rated Azure equivalent if that's what ya'll are using
- learn about containers and orchestration
- then start learning about infrastructure as code (this terraform course is great)
- lastly learning about CI/CD and Jenkins
There's lots more but if you work on these when you're stalled at work/waiting on pairing or in your off hours you'll start getting more confident in your work really quickly. I moved from QA to DevOps recently and am going through the same as you right now, but these courses have helped a lot!
