Thank you much! I’m currently taking this course :

https://www.udemy.com/course/linux-mastery/

I love it and I’ve learned a lot. We are getting into aliases and it’s so cool

I hear that C can be tough but I think that you are right. Would you suggest C compared to Python? I know that both are tough.

My favorite course

https://www.udemy.com/course/linux-mastery/ , and you only have to pay for it once, versus $50.00 a month for Linux academy, and IMo you should really have the basics down before starting a membership fee-based porgram. He walks you through downloading Ubuntu , another good one on Udemy are courses by Imran Afzal, he teaches you to use other other most popular distro redhat/cento.

Learning the Linux command line can be a hassle at first. I taught myself penetration testing from the ground up with only the prior knowledge of how to install Linux. I purchased a few courses on udemy. But by far the most beneficial one and the one I recommend to you is https://www.udemy.com/course/linux-mastery/ It will teach you everything you need to learn about the command line.

https://www.udemy.com/course/linux-mastery/ I know this is more expensive, however, it’s on sale for 5 more hours. Don’t pay full price for it, but when I was starting out this was legit. Felt so much more confident after taking the course. If you don’t wanna pay anything this would also suffice. https://youtu.be/2PGnYjbYuUo

Udemy courses are always 90% or 95% off... it's their business model.

The Linux Mastery course is pretty decent: https://www.udemy.com/course/linux-mastery/ as is the Bootcamp: https://www.udemy.com/course/linux-administration-bootcamp/ . Are they worth paying for? If you actually follow through on the entire course and do the exercises... probably. The hard part with Udemy courses is they are difficult to complete because... distractions.
