I just started the Marlowe language course last week and it’s straight forward. I’ve never coded before so I’m 100% noob. I’m going to retake this course like 10 more times until I’ve memorized every word haha. Best of luck!

Did you ever figure this out? I was hoping your post would get more attention but I think everyones too busy with Shelley at the moment. Have you tried the free Udemy course?

you seem to be more advanced but if you want to get a beginner friendly way into building smart contracts, consider this free tutorial about marlowe:

I think at this point it is more of an issue of targeting developers that will build on top of the protocol. what Dapp developers can accomplish will be vastly different depending on where they are. A city like Lagos has a lot of room to innovate as they are building a smart city from the ground up as well as being a supplychain hub on the atlantic coastline and especially in a country like Nigeria, where there are lots of natural resources, there maybe some blockchain solutions that empower the local economy and prevent exploitation by outside actors in the process. Places like Antwerp or Boston may be limited in their capabilities, (maybe to the point of only financial services and some Identity and authenticity solutions). I don't necessarily think the end user has to know the ins and outs of how blockchain works at the protocol levels in order to benefit.

If you are trying to explain a solution to someone who may not be tech savvy here is and example... I frequent a coffee shop in Boston that is family owned and operated with a farm in Nicaragua. They are very open about their growing and roasting operation as well as their community activities both in Boston and in Nicaragua. It is a great company but it isn't scalable, a dapp built on cardano may eventually allow them to authenticate their coffee so that they can continue to grow their business and keep their business identity. it is the same with something like beef chain you maybe able to authenticate whether that grass fed burger is actually grass fed or corn fed.

There is a udemy course on Marlow https://www.udemy.com/course/marlowe-programming-language/ maybe there should be a pinned post with some of the white board talks and resources though.
