My 10 cent is , Do NOT start with a boot camp even online... start here (below) or even the python course for ehtical hacking. I just hate the idea of paying loads to learn the basics when such cheap courses are available. But if you're anxious to join one for the fall... or to spend that money , go for it. Another idea is using a month of team treehouse to try their python training ,and they offer a free trial week, again thats from a cost saving view.
There are many other python courses on Udemy 40-52 hours...

If you liked self-paced ..check out the tech academy, they have Python and others.

I'll check that book out. I'm currently doing the Master Network Automation course on Udemy: https://www.udemy.com/course/master-python-network-automation-for-network-engineers/learn/lecture/12355154?start=0#questions. I've decided to go for my CCNP Automation cert (got my r&s CCNP last fall). Feels like I worked so hard for my CCNP which where I was starting to see the writing on the wall about our field gearing more towards SDN. I tried the Kirk Byers course too and had trouble getting past the first week. lol I'm at my 2nd ISP and find myself wanting to jump out a window some days if this is all there is to being a network guy. I suspect there are better gigs out there and I suspect learning SDN is how to get there but man, it feels like I'm starting all over again.
