Passed AZ-103. Here's what worked for me.

Keep in mind I've been using Azure for my personal project for a year before this.

RESOURCES

1. Prompts to the Skyline Udemy course for good breath, but the instructor was a bit too glib for me and the organization was all over the place. My favorite resource has to be Alan's Udemy course: https://www.udemy.com/course/microsoft-certified-azure-administrator/ .
2. If you have time, feel free to skim Microsoft's official guide on SafariBooks: Exam Ref AZ-103 Microsoft Azure Administrator, First Edition .You can sign up for a free week trial on https://learning.oreilly.com
3. WhizLabs, I paid $11 for 5 (52 questions) Exams. The question and explanations of the answers are spot on. I encountered many similar questions on the real exam. Alan's Udemy course had many questions that WhizLab also have.

THE EXAM ITSELF

• I finished with an hour left. The multiple choices went by quick but lots of time had were used for the Labs.
• The question on the labs were very straightforward, nothing tricky.
• I felt some of the multiple choice questions were weighted unfairly. Some questions, had 2-4 sections you had to answer. But the if you get one of the sections wrong, the entire question is wrong.
• There was only 1 question are PowerShell. I gambled not to study for Powershell and it paid off. The powershell question I encountered was in the lab, which I did by using the Portal. Not sure if I got it wrong by doing this, bu then again, it was only 1 question.
• I opted to do it at home, which was a lot of hassle, having to take pictures of your table. The proctor asked me to clear my entire table which I had lots of books shelved. A real chore to reorganized.

Another AZ-104 certified Azure admin!

Thank you to everyone here for the advise and sharing content, great group!

Passed this morning, haven't taken any certs in over 12 years, so was nervous before the exam. PearsonVue- OnVue app wouldn't detect my microphone when I checked-in to the exam, so had to restart my laptop 10min before starting :( even though my pre-check a day before passed

2.5 months of prep (lab,videos,reading - 3-4hrs each day), i use Azure at work (1.5yrs) occassionally only and for AAD, VMs, Monitor only so had a lot more learning to do.

Understanding the concepts first, rather than mindlessly doing labs really helped me answer some of the questions on the exam

Question Number: 60 to 65 (Mix of multiple choice, multiple selection, drag-drop and hotspot)

No LAB as of now.

One case study having 4-6 questions.

Preparation:

1. MS Learn --> To gain the actual knowledge
2. Video Course --> Alan course in Udemy to understand the concept in simple way (Video Course Link)
3. Practice test in Udemy to check your knowledge and secure your pass ( Practice Test Course Link )

These are the best step to pass AZ-104

I mean, for a free trial Azure subscription, you can use multiple email and creditcard, because you can only use once for trial, per email. And not free but reasonable price, a course from udemy.

I got the Measureup exam (though a work voucher) and TBH the questions on this were super hard, even harder than the exams

The other one was another Udemy instructors practice test Alan Rodrigues https://www.udemy.com/course/microsoft-certified-azure-administrator/ (this one isn't really the same as an exam setting)

I'm about 20% through this one and he is very good so far. Has 200+ exam questions throughout so covers the practical and exam side of things. A lot of udemy courses seem to be one or the other. The course is also regularly updated last update being this year.

I got the course for €11.99 as Udemy do regular sales, if its currently €100+ I would hold off and check regularly for the next price drop.

There seems to be an uptick in the popularity of the AZ-104 exam and it was suggested that a resource post be created. I cannot speak to the helpfulness of these resources as I have not taken the exam yet. Still, these resources were found common in the last 30 days of posting. Hopefully this helps!

Just passed, got 850/1000. Was almost certain I failed but nope.

One case study right at the start with 4 questions, followed by 50 multiple choice questions, then 9 scenario based questions that you cannot return to.
