Firstly, well done on being proactive and thinking hard about what you need.
My husband and I quit our lives to go travel. We were 26/27 when we left. Best thing we ever did :)
But, we worked VERY hard when we travelled and we had to be smart about it.
For example, we would go to the mountains in summer, when everyone was going to the beach. We did this because accommodation was far cheaper there. We also would go out for drinks, instead of going out for dinner- saving extra money there too by simply making food at home. We also stayed in Eastern Europe over the 'busy' seasons as it was incredibly affordable. Just think out of the box- it is very possible to do.
Regarding work, we did online work. Check this out for more on the online jobs we did.
Just out of the bat, start doing these online jobs for three months before you quit. It takes time to build any business. You have to be aware of that. Nothing good happens over night. If you are not willing to put in the hard work, then your expectations may be unrealistic.
Also, start saving for 3 months before you go.
This practice of starting something and learning how to save, before you actually go, will set you up for success.
