I just started the Marlowe language course last week and it’s straight forward. I’ve never coded before so I’m 100% noob. I’m going to retake this course like 10 more times until I’ve memorized every word haha. Best of luck!

The testnet does not have smart contracts yet. Usually the testnet gets features about a month or so before the mainnet. Since this will be a massive feature it may get it even sooner. I'm sure there will be a post on here when it's launched.

Yes there is! Here's the link: https://www.udemy.com/course/plutus-reliable-smart-contracts/

And I forgot to mention the plutus playground: https://playground.plutus.iohkdev.io/

You are mistaken. Their marketing effort with McCann and others is focused on developers and not on "fanboys".

They are doing hackathons: https://iohk.io/en/blog/posts/2019/09/12/iohk-brings-plutus-to-wyomings-hackathon/

They build libraries so people can program in any language. https://github.com/input-output-hk/plutus

They created online courses: https://www.udemy.com/course/plutus-reliable-smart-contracts/

They have written books: https://www.amazon.com/Plutus-Writing-reliable-smart-contracts-ebook/dp/B07V46LWTW

They are giving courses (In Athens, Barbados and Ethiopia so far and there were plans for more): https://iohk.io/en/education/courses/

They opened research labs in universities in several countries.

They build Marlowe and will possibly build more DSLs for other industries.

And I'm sure there is more in the pipelines.

IELE ended up not fitting in their budget and timeframe because other development had higher priority so it was shelved. Maybe it will be developed in the future.

There is a udemy course by IOHK on Plutus, the smart contract platform that will be used on Cardano: https://www.udemy.com/course/plutus-reliable-smart-contracts/

Learning Haskell might also be helpful. This is one of the classics: https://www.cambridge.org/core/books/programming-in-haskell/8FED82E807EF12D390DE0D16FDE217E4 there are many other resources which you can find here: https://www.haskell.org/documentation/
