The Stanford course you referenced is heavily weighted towards design, which is not inherently a bad thing. Given you are looking to move into a PM role for the first time, I would suggest you consider courses that cover more generalist topics before diving into specialized design learning. You've probably heard the old saying, that is product is the interaction of business, design and tech... Mastering at least two of these is a good practice, but covering the broad best practices across the discipline might serve you better at your stage.
