Ive had that feelling and Im certainly a noob, I feel its mostly because they are beginner tutorials that dont let you build anything , As long as you are picking up the basics of the fundamentals like variables and while loops then you should try one that leads you through projects as that type of practice makes it stick better and or makes it come alive to us,

thats a problem Im having in java
