You're welcome! When I started learning it, I used this course: https://www.udemy.com/course/scrapy-tutorial-web-scraping-with-python/ Udemy often has discounts, so you can buy it for like $10. Good luck! :)

I live in India and i am getting this for 420 rupees ( about $5.6). If there was no sale i would have got for around 720 rupees (about $9.6). You can see this screenshot.

The first course that i took was this Coursera course. I would not recommend this to anyone unless they are an absolute moron. The pace is real slow. Maybe i didn't like it because i had prior programming experience (in C). Anyways i did complete it. After this i properly studied from this book. Though i would not recommend this to anyone because the content is 10 years old.

After that i studied some django from this freeCodeCamp course/video. I built this website, nothing fancy, after completing it. The rest i learnt from the documentation as and when i needed it (i was pursuing a project on the side).

I have also done this udemy course on scrapy (a web scraping framework in python). It was needed in the aforementioned project that i was pursuing.

After going through all this i realized that i didn't know some very important concepts (like decorators, properties etc.). For those i selectively watched Corey Schafer's videos. His videos are real good.

I discovered udemy a little late because i was averse to paying for education online. But some of udemy's courses are absolutely worth it, considering the content and the cheap price. I only wish i had taken Andre Neagoi's course when i started out. It would have helped me understand the big picture better early on. My sister is currently using this course. She is an absolute beginner in python and she hasn't had any problem in understanding the content.
