Aprender el hermano mayor de excel: Power BI + Tableau.

Pero eso lo tenes que complementar con SQL y Python básico.

Listo, sos un Business Analyst ahora. Ah, queres un curso de eso? Ok, toma: https://www.udemy.com/course/the-business-intelligence-analyst-course-2018/

Is it worth it to learn something IT related from sites like Udemy or Skill share?

I assume these are not enough to help you find a job alone, since you need a real certificate, or a degree, etc.. But then what's the point of a course like for example an Intelligence Analyst Course, or a Web Developer course? Does it worth it? What are your experiences?

Hi!

I'm looking for some recommendations on good online courses that could teach me BI fundamentals and skills such as SQL, Python, & Tableau.

I recently finished The Business Intelligence Analyst Course on Udemy (https://www.udemy.com/course/the-business-intelligence-analyst-course-2018) which gave me a taste of the three skills mentioned above, but I'm looking to dig deeper.

My plan is to take what I've learned from these courses and do a project combining SQL, Python, & Tableau, and use this project as a portfolio item. I'm currently working in a position with very few opportunities to do BI-related work, so I feel I am on my own when it comes to demonstratable work.

There are a lot of online courses you can take in Udemy or Coursera about BI. I'm taking this one. https://www.udemy.com/course/the-business-intelligence-analyst-course-2018/

Any time you want to move between career paths, it pays to codify (write down) and formalise your knowledge.

I have had success using online short courses as a way to consolidate my knowledge and to also give me a bit of paper at the end to show I did the work. You might also consider doing some online postgraduate study through open universities etc.

Some courses you might want to look at:
