Linked in learning has some good courses on Linux administration, I used one to help me pass the Linux+ exam, they also have some good courses on sql and Oracle, you use to be able to get a month free of training with them.
Id strongly suggest taking a course on Oracle, I can thanalso suggest one from Udemy if you like, I enjoy what Ive learned of Sql its very logical to me and so far , far more functional that other languages that Ive played with. But keep at it, Im also a newb and we all were at some point .
For windows, I download sql server express, a free version and I can just use and practice in that database, I have also downloaded the 11c database onto virutal box in that so far I can use 99% of the scripts on that.
I am using the first course and the instructor seems to have very clear instruction ( bit of an accent , check the sample video for your interests). I am generally against starting with a subscription style course before we learn the basics, I say make our first mistakes without a big fee attached.
