Commercial real estate analyst here with experience working at a large capital markets intermediary and brokerage houses.

There’s a myriad of resources (most mentioned above). If your company is willing to spend money on resources, the following are the ones I like the best.

  1. CoStar - $$$

  2. RCM; Real Capital Analytics

  3. Creditntell - great for market information and credit analysis

Cheaper or free alternatives found below.

  1. Udemy

I am largely self taught and I bought the following course to help me model PE:

(Apologies if this isn’t hyperlinked - I’m on a phone).

  1. AdventuresinCRE

  2. Befriend a broker. They will want to talk to you.

I work in the Bay Area in CRE, as well. Feel free to message me.

CCIM 101 is a good start.

Those courses on Udemy are all nice, too:

Finally, depending on your commitment and interest, many business schools offer online Finance courses, both general and in CRE. Wisconsin has a great business program in CRE and I believe they offer some courses online.
