i picked this one up on sale recently, cost me like $20 at the time and is 50 hours long. im comfortable in logic, but wanted something that’ll take me all the way through the ins and outs of everything i might be missing. so far pretty satisfied with the instructor.

It may be more broad based than what you are looking for. It pretty much walks you through how to do just about everything logic has to offer.

I started out with this course:

https://www.udemy.com/course/thecompletelogicprox/

I helped me a lot.

There is also a version for Ableton Live.

For music theory you can try this:

I am in the middle of this course and it will get you around Logic’s complex interface very well.

Hey Adilpickles! I would say if you're just starting out, Blanks is a lot less technical. Andrew's class, he doesn't really go into the use of his specific DAW (Ableton) which meant I often had to look up how to do what he was showing, but I didn't mind because I think it's a great way to learn, trying to figure things out for yourself.

But the better fit for you is likely Blanks for a number of reasons. First, he uses Logic. Second, he *is* specific on how to do things in Logic, so you will be able to follow along more closely. His music theory isn't as good as Andres, BUT, Andrew's Music theory video is in the pre-class and so it's ALSO on Youtube, so check it out!

Hope this helps! The coupon code in my original will work for whichever class you'd like to sign up for. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh, if this course is on sale for $10 as it often is, check out this course on learning Logic: https://www.udemy.com/course/thecompletelogicprox/

If you are on Facebook, you'll start seeing ads for $10 courses on Udemy. Do incognito mode as they will learn your habits and try to charge you more. I once got a better deal by changing browsers. That said, the guy who teaches that Logic course is AMAZING! You'll learn the program inside and out. Couple that with what you learn about making music and you'll be on your way!

Could try Udemy courses like this one. There always seems to be a sale on that site so you can get expensive classes for like $20: https://www.udemy.com/course/thecompletelogicprox/

Personally, I use Hyperbits. He's a producer/DJ specializing in dance music but is a Logic nerd and pretty great teacher. He has a master class that's expensive (though I think it's cheap compared to a lot of master classes out there) but it seems super comprehensive and includes live virtual classes in addition to recorded lesson videos. I think there's even a 1-on-1 session included and you can even schedule a consultation call before buying a course I believe. The master class was too expensive for me (even if paying in installments) but I chose the bootcamp version or something like that which includes a bunch of pre-recorded videos about mixing and mastering and I learned a ton just from those. https://hyperbitsmusic.com/masterclass/
I don't really make dance music but learning about all the craziness that goes into mixing that kind of music is still super transferable to what I do with lofi/chillhop/trap/alternative hip hop.
