Checked this out and seems this is all REALLY basic stuff that you can really easily glean from any YouTube channel on WordPress for free. Or any free written WordPress tutorial for that matter.
Nothing wrong with paying for knowledge (e.g. a highly specialised SEO course) but this one seems to be a waste.

Are you trying to turn it into a content management system LIKE WordPress, or actually using the WordPress product? I'm guessing it's the latter and if you're specifically using WordPress, there are TONS of videos out there to teach you the basics of how to use WordPress.
https://wpcourses.com/ - The "official" beginner's class, but costs like $50
https://www.udemy.com/course/wordpress-for-beginners-course - Likely a more "complete" class that costs $23
Or there's the content on Lynda (which LinkedIn bought and so they're rebranding), which has a 1-month free trial:
https://www.linkedin.com/learning/search?keywords=wordpress
Or you can likely just use Google to find blogs and videos for free, but it will be hit-or-miss with the quality of the content.
I don't have any affiliation to any of the above links or videos, but I'd suggest either the Lynda/LinkedIn one or Udemy first.
It's best to learn the basics of how to operate a simple WordPress site (how to set it up, how to add posts/pages, how to add themes, etc...) before you attempt to really dive into the coding. Otherwise, you're going to be running up against a bunch of terms and concepts that are unfamiliar, so how would you even know whether you should change that bit of code or not?
Once you've learned how to use WP, then you can determine what all you need to edit/customize. There are "themes" to change the APPEARANCE and layout of the site, there are plugins that add or change the FUNCTIONALITY of the site, and then you have posts and pages, which change the CONTENT of the site. In most cases, you won't need to use PHP code for the content. Usually PHP only comes in when you want to work on plugins, and SOMETIMES you use it in themes.
